Alright, next up, Vaccinations!

When planning my trip to Tanzania I needed to learn more about the vaccinations recommended to enter the country. I can’t stress enough the importance of checking the vaccination requirements for a country before travelling there to ensure that you are protected from preventable diseases and meet the entry requirements set by that country. Some countries may require proof of certain vaccinations as a condition of entry, and failure to provide proof can result in being denied entry or facing quarantine. Additionally, being vaccinated can also protect your health and well-being during your travels. That being said, Tanzania requires that all travellers coming from Kenya have the Yellow Fever vaccination before entry. If they don’t get the vaccination will be denied access to the country. Other vaccinations they recommend are:

  • Measles
  • Hep A
  • Hep B
  • Rabies
  • Meningococcal Disease
  • Covid- 19
  • Flu
  • Malaria

Some may wonder how to get these vaccinations before traveling, especially if you don’t have a family doctor. Well, the answer is more simple than expected travel clinics. Travel clinics are a great place to get more information on what you need before going to certain countries, and they do offer consultations and price lists.

Here is an example of one I found online:

As always, I hope my tips and tricks are helpful on your next adventure,
